The Juxtopia® Urban Learning Technology Television (JULT.tv) is an interactive and internet-based television network.  JULT.tv produces and delivers programming for improving human performance® of science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) and entrepreneurship.  

Built upon the foundation of The Juxtopia Group’s mission of improving the learning proficiency of underserved and disadvantaged populations, worldwide, through adaptive learning technology interventions, JULT.tv was launched in February 14, 2011 to address the following challenges:

  • Frequently students do not understand the real-world relevance of lessons, lectures, or assignments given in traditional classroom settings, and consequently, do not retain the knowledge required to solve real-world based STEM engineering problems.  
  • Often students are not exposed enough to a vast array of STEM careers.
  • The stereotype of a STEM professional remains an unrewarded and anti-social misfit which, consequently, encourages peer disdain and mitigates the motivated and STEM contributions from youth.
  • School systems experience difficulty attracting educators experienced and highly proficient in STEM areas to train students at competitive salaries.

The JULT.tv’s increasing library of programs includes diverse teams of student engineers that develop real-world products that advance industries ranging from aerospace, construction, and biomedicine to commercial space, entertainment, and manufacturing.
